Public Relation of IAIN Parepare – The Audit and Quality Control Center at the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Parepare held a coordination meeting with the heads of the Study Program Implementation Unit (UPPS) and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M), Tuesday (26/03/2024) through a zoom meeting.
Present at the event were Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs and Development H. Saepudin, Vice Rector III for Cooperation and Student Affairs Muhammad Ali Rusi, Chair of LPM Muhammad Qadaruddin, Director of Postgraduate Studies, Deans and Vice Deans I, and Heads of Centers at LPM and Heads of Divisions at the faculty level.
LPM Chair Muhammad Qadaruddin said that the internal quality assurance cycle is a strategic step that must be implemented by universities in order to create quality tridharma.
"This evaluation cycle is an effort to improve the ongoing tridharma process, in addition to the needs for accreditation, it is also to see the problems that arise from the beginning to the end of the tridharma activities," said Muhammad Qadaruddin.
In this activity, the Head of the Audit and Quality Control Center, Adnan Achiruddin Saleh, explained a number of surveys that must be carried out by UPPS under the coordination of LPM as a form of implementing the quality assurance cycle at UPPS, such as internal satisfaction surveys, VMTS understanding surveys, satisfaction surveys of students, lecturers and education staff including the implementation of partner satisfaction surveys and tracer studies.
"To ensure that this evaluation cycle runs, we need to share information related to the survey schedule and ensure the person in charge at a number of UPPS including at LP2M," said Adnan Achiruddin.
In the final session, Vice Rector I emphasized that at the UPPS level, a survey team has started to be formed in order for this cycle to be implemented. The implementation of this cycle is evidenced by the existence of a number of survey reports, both internal and external satisfaction surveys. (Mhy/Mif/MM)
